CHILDREN OF JUDY HARRIS AND ROBERT RUSS
(Child #7 of John Harris and Frances)

Judah "Judy" Harris3 (John2, Isaac1) was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina before December 20, 1797. She was named in her father's will which was written on that date in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Judy married Robert Russ who was born in North Carolina in about 1800 according to the 1860 census of Cleveland County, North Carolina. They were living in the part of Rutherford County that became Cleveland County when it was formed from Rutherford and Lincoln Counties in 1841.

    2. Sumenly "Summy" RUSS (male) b 1820 (30-1850), Rutherford Co., NC; m Elizabeth  ?  b 1825 (35-1860), SC
    3. Andrew RUSS b 1829 (21-1850), Rutherford Co., NC; m Susan  ?  b 1833 (27-1860), NC; lvd Cleveland Co., NC, when 1860 census taken

      Children:
      1. John M. RUSS b 1845 (15-1860), NC
      2. Calhoun RUSS b 1847 (13-1860), NC
      3. Jane RUSS b 1853 (7-1860), NC
      4. Van B. RUSS b 1858 (2-1860), NC

    4. Ransour RUSS b 1830 (20-1850), Rutherford Co., NC; m Irena "Anna"  ?  b 1837 (33-1870), NC; (Note: Family enumerated in the 1860 and 1870 censuses; Sarah Russ, age 15 b NC, and Cyrus Russ, "age 10 months b Aug in NC," were included in the 1870 census enumeration, but Sarah was not listed in 1860 census; was Sarah their daughter?
