William Berry Hicks4, (Cath. Harris3, Wooten2, Isaac1) was born October 16, 1857, in Ramsey, Fayette County, Illinois, and died November 14, 1910, in Ramsey, Fayette County, Illinois. He married Nancy J. Matthews, daughter of Greenberry Matthews and Melinda Fox, on April 16, 1867, in Montgomery County, Illinois. She was born March 29, 1840, in Kentucky. Her date of death on her tombstone couldn't be read, but she and her husband were buried in Little Hickory Cemetery, Hurricane Township, Fayette County, Illinois.

James Thomas Hicks5 (Wm. B4., Cath. Harris3, Wooten2, Isaac1) was born May 9, 1861, in Fayette County, Illinois, and died July 9, 1912. He was married twice. He married Martha Runyon, daughter of John Runyon and Demerias Anders, on August 25, 1879, in Montgomery County, Illinois. She was born in about 1864 in Illinois. She was age 16 when the 1880 census was taken for Fillmore Township, Montgomery County, Illinois. He married his second wife, Nancy Jane Merriman, daughter of Dempsey Merriman and Lucinda Renshaw, on August 27, 1882, in Fayette County, Illinois. She was born in May 1860, in Fayette County, Illinois, and died December 2, 1944, in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois. James and Nancy were buried in Little Hickory Cemetery, Fayette County, Illinois.
